The environment of VoxeLibre is split up into various different 'biomes', a biome is a geographic biotic unit comprising a distinct community of plants and animals that thrive in similar environmental conditions and usually named according to dominant type of vegetation. Below is a list of biomes within VoxeLibre by default.
Overworld Biomes
Snowy
Ice Plains
Ice Plains Spike
Generally characterized, with the base node being dirt, covered with a layer of snow. Water is general frozen over and rivers are lined with sand. Temperature is often below freezing and humidity is set moderate at 24.

Ice Plains Oceans
The oceans are generally covered in gravel.

Cold Taiga
Most of the land is dirt based, often covered with grass and snow.
Temperature: 8deg Humidity: 58%
Cold Taiga Beach
Most of the land is sand based, covered in snow and has a dominant sand stone structure underneath. Open water is usually covered with ice.
