Enchanting
Enchanting is a game mechanic to augment/change properties/behavior of armor, weapons and tools using one or more "enchantments". Enchantments can be applied directly onto armor, weapons and tools or indirectly by use of an enchanted book. Enchanted objects are shown in the inventory with a light lila glow.

Mending[edit | edit source]
Mending repairs any items in the player's main hand, off hand, or armor slots by experience orbs collected from any source. The amount of repair executed on the item is linked to amount of experience orbs. (exact amount?). If there is any experience left after repairing all items, this experience will be added to the player's experience as expected. If multiple equipped items are enchanted with "mending", one of them is selected randomly for repair. Fully repaired items will not be selected.
Incompatibilites[edit | edit source]
The enchantments "Mending" and "Infinity" are not compatible. In survival, only one of them can be applied to an item.
